Tips & Tricks for A Healthy Experience

  • Stay Hydrated!  Bring your reusable water bottle to conveniently fill-up at designated water stations throughout the convention center.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Carry healthy snacks to keep your body fueled (nuts, dried fruit, power bars).
  • Meditate to help you relax and reduce stress.
  • Get your sleep. Pack a sleep mask & earplugs.
  • Stay active to keep your body moving.
  • Download a step counting app on your phone to track steps, calories burned, miles walked and set goals while you travel. Encourage a friendly step-challenge competition with your colleagues.

Step ChallengePack your most comfortable sneakers and prepare to get your steps in while in New Orleans. Join this fun challenge and see how many steps you walk as you navigate the convention center and explore the city. You can also earn additional steps by making Social Connections and scanning in at Bonus Activities. Get ready to challenge your friends and colleagues, set some personal goals, and watch your name rise to the top of the Leaderboard!

ASHP Foundation Pharmacy on the Move Fun Run & WalkDon’t miss out! The ASHP Foundation invites all 2024 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition attendees in New Orleans to the 2nd ASHP Foundation Pharmacy on the Move 5K Fun Run & Walk on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Step out from the meeting spaces to enjoy a fun event – all while making an impact by raising funds to help move pharmacy forward. Bond with your colleagues, prioritize your health and well-being and celebrate the pharmacy profession. And even more exciting, we will have team competitions and prizes!


Meditation/Quiet Room

Visit this room, intended to provide a quiet, calm space for attendees to meditate, pray and spend time away from noise, lights, and other stimuli of the meeting spaces.

Please note, the meditation/quiet room is not available for conversations or meetings; please respect the intent of the space.

Take a short break and recharge with a complimentary seated chair massage. Targeting your neck, shoulders and back, this quick session helps release tension, reduce stress and leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Seated Chair Massages will be located in Lobby G, Level 1
Monday – Wednesday
10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Massages will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
