Josh Hammonds is a tenured professor and Department Chair at Rollins College, where he holds dual appointments in the College of Liberal Arts and the Crummer Graduate School of Business. His PhD is in Organizational Communication — work that lives at the intersection of communication science and leadership behavior, studying how humans connect, influence, and lead.

Over the past two decades, he has taken that research from the classroom into the boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies like FedEx and Darden Restaurants, global brands like Niantic and AdventHealth, and more than 30 organizations worldwide.

He joins us to talk about one of the most underleveraged skills in your professional toolkit — networking.
