How to to Update Your Profile

Once you have registered for PPS, you can update your profile and upload your resume. Your resume will not be searchable nor will you be able to request interviews until October 25.

  1. Visit http://careers.ashp.org/jobseekers and either sign in if you have an ASHP account or sign up if you do not. If you have an ASHP account, but have not registered for CareerPharm, you may be asked to complete mandatory fields before you are fully registered. If your log in is saved in your browser, you will be directed to the “My Account” home page
  2. Once on the My Account Home Page, you can begin editing your profile, including your CV by clicking on “Your Profile” on the top and then “edit profile.”
  3. You will now be directed to a few pages where you can fill in your general information and career history. You will come to a page that allows you to update your profile visibility and can upload documents.
    1. Profile visibility provides you with the ability to remain private or semi-public to employers. There are 3 options:
      1. Public – employers can find you in the CV database and access all information.
      2. Confidential – employers can find you in the CV database, but can only see general information that will not identify you as an individual. You will be identified as an individual to a specific employer only if/when you request an interview/apply for a position at that employer.
      3. Private – employers cannot find you in the CV database. You will be identified as an individual to a specific employer only if/when you request an interview/apply for a position at that employer.
    2. Upload documents allows you to add documents to your profile. These will show up when an employer views your profile and will be available for quick access when you are in the process of applying for a position. You can only add a file if your profile is set to “public.”
  4. On the next page, you MUST apply changes before your finish or they will not be saved.
