Virtual Residency Showcase Information

ASHP will host its annual Virtual Residency Showcase on December 14, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET, giving programs who participated in the live event an extra opportunity to connect with candidates after Midyear.


The Virtual Residency Showcase is a second opportunity to interact with recruiting programs if you did not get a chance to connect with them at Midyear. Registration is free to anyone looking for a residency in 2023. Participating programs must have had an in-person booth at Residency Showcase, but not all booths from Midyear are represented at the virtual event. 

How does it work?

  1. Create your account and fill out the event registration form.
  2. Login any time before the event to edit your profile and learn more about participating programs.
  3. On the event date and time, sign in and join the live session from anywhere.
  4. During the live event, you'll be able to visit booths and chat one-on-one via text and/or video with participating programs.

Registration Information

Note: Due to the quantity of virtual booths, the event will be split up into 3 different virtual environments sorted alphabetically: A-G, H-R, and S-Z. You will have to register for all three should you choose to visit them. However, once you fill out the registration form for one event, the answers will carry to the others for a quicker registration.


If you plan to participate in the supplemental virtual event, please fill out the survey before November 15 to reserve your virtual booth. Programs must have participated in the in-person Residency Showcase to secure a booth at the virtual event. Each in-person Residency Showcase Booth is eligible for one corresponding virtual booth. If you are eligible for multiple virtual booths, please fill out this survey multiple times (once for each booth number).

Further instructions will be sent to participating programs before Midyear.
If you do not plan to participate, please do not fill out the survey.

How Does it Work?

  • After you have filled out the survey, ASHP will verify your eligibility and create a booth space where you can add content and reps.
  • You will receive an email with instructions as your booth is added. The email will be sent no later than November 21.
  • During the event, you will spend your time chatting with candidates.
  • As candidates enter your booth, they can submit a request to chat with your program. If you are the representative chatting with a candidate, you will see their full information and CV throughout the chat.
  • After the event, you will have access to your chat transcripts and booth reporting for 6 months.
