Welcome to Las Vegas and ASHP’s 60th Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition! We hope you spark brilliance everywhere you go while you are here. Provided below is some helpful information as you navigate the meeting. Enjoy your time in Vegas.
ASHP LIVE! App
The ASHP LIVE! app is your most important Midyear meeting resource. Be sure to download before arriving in Las Vegas to plan your days and keep track of all that is going on at the meeting. To login, use the email address associated with your meeting registration and the registration ID (received when you registered for the meeting and again later this week).
Use the website and app to:
- Create your own schedule and explore detailed session and event info
- Browse faculty, poster, attendee, and exhibitor listings
- Access session materials and take notes directly on the slides
- Receive important updates and announcements
Note: If you have installed the ASHP LIVE! app for a previous event, it is recommended that you delete it from your device and reinstall it to take advantage of the most current functionality and bug fixes.
Meeting Location and Transportation
The Midyear meeting will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The venue includes the South Convention Center, North Convention Center, and the Michelob ULTRA Arena. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time – at least 10 minutes - to walk to your destination from the point you are dropped off by bus or ride share and your destination.

- Shuttle Bus Schedule
Shuttle bus service will be provided Saturday, December 6 through Wednesday, December 10 from all official Midyear Clinical Meeting hotels to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center (except for the W Las Vegas, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, and Luxor Las Vegas). Direct service will be provided from the MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature at MGM Grand.
View the Shuttle Schedule → - Ride Share Pickup and Drop Off
Only one ride share location will be used for pickup and drop off for attendees going to/from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The rideshare area is adjacent to the parking garage at the W Las Vegas. From the convention center, follow signs toward the Mandalay Bay Casino. Follow the walkway to the left past KUMI, Citizens Kitchen & Bar, and Caramá, and exit out the glass doors. - Mandalay Bay – Luxor – Excalibur Tram
Starting at Mandalay Bay, this free tram goes north, stopping at the Luxor before ending at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino (about a 7-minute trip). All three stops have signage to help you navigate. At the Mandalay Bay, the tram is located in the northeast corner of the casino, past the House of Blues Restaurant & Bar. The tram does not run 24 hours a day. Hours of operation during the ASHP Midyear meeting will be 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. December 7 – 10, and starting at 10:00 a.m. on all other days.

Be on the lookout for your barcode email on Thursday. Scan this barcode at Badge Pickup to get your badge and meeting materials quickly. Several convenient badge pickup locations will be available when you arrive in Las Vegas.

What to Pack and Wear
- Be prepared for for cool temperatures in Las Vegas this time of year. The weather forecast is calling for highs in the 50s to mid 60s during the day and low temperatures in the 40s in the evening.
- Business casual attire is appropriate for ASHP’s Midyear meeting.
- Reusable water bottles enable attendees to make use of convenient water refill stations.
- A Midyear meeting badge is required for entrance to all official ASHP events and should be removed when going outside the convention center.
- A sweater or dressing in layers will prepare you for cool temperatures inside meeting rooms.
- Comfortable shoes are essential for navigating the meeting and exploring the city. And be sure to sign up for the Midyear meeting Step Challenge!

There are a variety of choices in and around the Mandalay Bay Convention Center ranging from quick casual food to upscale dining. The Mandalay Bay food court is conveniently located within the convention center and adjacent to all the meeting activities, offering several casual eateries. The exhibit hall will also offer concessions during open hours. More options are available in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Place, Luxor, Luxor Food Court and the Four Seasons Hotel. Check the Dining Options tab on the ASHP LIVE! app for a full listing of nearby restaurants. Reservations are highly recommended.

Mission Possible: The New ASHP Strategic Plan
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: uncover the details of our new strategic plan!
ASHP’s new strategic plan is anchored by five strategic pillars. Get to know the goals and strategies within each pillar by accepting the Mission Possible challenge!
Here’s how it works:
- Locate the Mission Possible meter board signs located throughout the Mandalay Bay convention center (hint – there are 6 total!)
- Scan the QR code to access the quiz question (hint, be sure to read details about the plan on each sign before you scan!)
